Your centre has its own rooms, routines and responsibilities. Describe the classrooms and supporting spaces you want assessed so a cleaning proposal can follow the actual day at your Coquitlam daycare.
01
Start with rooms and accessible surfaces
List activity spaces, washrooms and the office or staff rooms in scope. Explain what staff will put away and which surfaces will be available when cleaning starts.
Activity-room floors and cleared tables
Accessible shelves and agreed touchpoints
Child and staff washroom fixtures
Entrances, offices and staff areas
02
Separate materials from room cleaning
Toys, learning resources, sleep equipment and personal belongings need their own instructions. If you want an item included, agree its method and responsibility alongside the ordinary room tasks.
03
Bring the centre’s requirements to the discussion
Share relevant surface-care instructions, product restrictions and requested disinfection procedures. These help define the work clearly without replacing the centre’s own operating policies.
Provide last-pickup and first-arrival times, any staff staying later and the authorized entrance. Include building rules if the centre shares premises with other occupants.
05
Make review practical for the centre contact
Agree who raises concerns and who can approve changes. Use room and task descriptions in ordinary updates, keeping children’s records and personal information out of the enquiry.
